Cat at Metro Arts sent me an invite to an artists' networking event on Tuesday October 14:

How to Package and Present Yourself:
an evening of networking and information from Metro Arts Alliance

Join us on Tuesday, October 14, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM. Deb Copeland and Laura Burkhalter will share their expertise on the art of the first impression for visual and performing artists as they prepare for casting calls, booking gigs, entering juried competitions, and more. There will be snacks and time to network with other artists.
