80/35 Music Festival

Unfortunately, I may not be able to make it to the meeting tonight. I will try my best to be there at some point - but in case I don't - here is a topic someone can bring to discuss.

I'm thinking that the 80/35 music festival (link below for those of you who haven't heard) could be a good place to spread the word about our group later in the summer once we're more established and have some shows scheduled.

I don't know details regarding vendor openings; it may be expensive or not a possiblity to have a booth. At the very least, this would be a great opportunity to have some postcards or business cards made with show dates and web addresses to pass around to thousands of friendly festival-goers.

I agree. That idea was kicked around towards the end of the meeting last week. Yes, I don't know if that is even an option, but definitely worth looking into.
