New members?
I posted an ad on Des Moines Craigslist seeking new members. It's under "Artists" if you want to see it. Hopefully it'll get some response.
Re: New members?
Awesome! Thanks for doing that.
An FYI - I have a lady I work with who is interested. She has committed to our next two shows.

Re: New members?
The lady I work with, Jenny Fickbohm, will be joining us at Gateway Market. She paints. I can't tell you they style or content. I just remember a couple of the photos I've seen where of flowers, but I have a horrible memory. She also teaches art classes at ISU, I believe.
I also invited three artists from a show I was at today. One paints flowers and things on wine glasses, plates, windows, trays, etc. She is very talented, and her work is a perfect fit for Gateway Market, for which she will be joining us Saturday. She is from Indianola.
Another artist works with pottery and painting them. He won't be able to join us Saturday, but is interested in the group. He also is from Indianola.
Another man lives in Milo, Iowa. He paints old farm scenes. He is EXTREMELY talented. His work is amazing. He is unable to join us this Saturday also, but is very interested in being a part of the group.
I also had a reply from Craigslist about looking for a sculptor. He told him/her to send a couple photos of his/her work, to check out the website and MySpace, and to join the forum. I'm not sure if he/she will join our group, or even possibly join us this Saturday. I'm not sure where he/she is from.
I hope all of this is okay. I like the idea of getting 3-Dimensional artists involved. Also, it is nice to expand our network and to get some new faces and pieces for shows.

Re: New members?
Well that all sounds promising. Hopefully someone will be able to make it to a meeting and be active in the group.
