State Fair and wineries

I made an initial contact with the Iowa State Fair board via e-mail to test the waters for possibly having a two to three day showing. I gave them a link to the Myspace page for them to view some of our work. I also mentioned the date and location of our inaugural event. I wonder if we should send them a formal invitation to our June 28 show??? I thought I'd let everyone know that I'm working on this. I'll keep everyone informed of the progress and if I need any help. I hope this pans out.

I also sent an e-mail request to Ingersoll Winery and Spirits. They have weekly wine tastings, and I asked if we could do an art showing during this time. Again, will keep you updated.

I'm going to contact a couple more local wineries and see what happens.

YES, I think we should formally invite them to the June 28th show, so that they can meet us all and see what we do up-close-and-personal! You never know what can come out of these things.
